About

Welcome to AllAboutChantelle, a blog I must admit is less than imaginatively named, after moving to Berlin, I really wanted to start documenting my hobbies and travels for my family back in the UK but I could not decide on (or even think of) a name and thus AllAboutChantelle was born.

I moved to Berlin in 2011 to be with my then Boyfriend, now husband David who was working here and yes long distant relationships do suck, I get asked that all the time. We are both originally from Bournemouth on the South Coast of England where we originally met in 2010. Over 6 years later, the experiment seems to have worked as we are still here, happily married and now living our life with our daughter Tabitha.

Our lives have evolved and continue to do so as reflected in the content of my blog, which was originally started as an online recipe book, really just for my own reference, this seemed to gain me followers and a lot of interaction online so I began to share content and interact in the blogging world with guest posts and such. Luckily I had some knowledge of this as I was working in Marketing and SEO at the time. I then started toย document our travels and exploration of Berlin for both family and followers and it now seems thatย it is becoming AllAboutTabitha, as are our lives (not that I would have it any other way).

So whether you are a long-term follower or you have just discovered my blog, welcome and I hope you like what you read and you enjoy my ecclectic mix of subject matter, somewhat linked to the ecclectic train of thought fromย my brain as I try to battle my way through the first year of motherhood and becoming a breastfeeding, baby-led-weaning, baby-wearing, stay at home mumma.

Who knew that baby brain really is a thing?

    • Hey, thank you for popping by! It is a great city cannot see myself being anywhere else! The best thing has been the inspiration to learn how to cook! The chocolate brownies were so tasty they were eaten far too quickly!
