Welcome to AllAboutChantelle, a blog I must admit is less than imaginatively named, after moving to Berlin in 2011, I really wanted to start documenting my life, including exploring Berlin, Baking, Travel and any other things I got up to really. A blog seemed a nice place to start to keep everyone up to date and informed. However,Β I could not decide on (or even think of) a name and thus AllAboutChantelle was born.

I moved to Berlin to be with my, then Boyfriend, now husband David who was working here whilst I finished my Post-Grad at University (and just in case you were wondering yes, long distant relationships are awful). We are both originally from Bournemouth on the South Coast of England where we originally met in 2010. Over 6 years later, something must be working as we are still here, happily married and now living life including our daughter Tabitha.

Our lives in Berlin have changed dramatically since I arrived and I have allowed this to be reflected in the content of my blog which has sort of accidently evolved alongside our lifes, from an online diary, to a recipe book and now documenting life with our baby girl Tabitha. I am sure that as she now becomes a toddler and I am getting a little bit more time to blog again, something I am determined not to give up on, the content will continue to change.

So whether you are a long-term follower or you have just discovered my blog, welcome and I hope you like what you read and you enjoy my ecclectic mix of subject matter, somewhat linked to the ecclectic train of thought fromΒ my brain as I try to battle my way through the ever changing world of motherhood and becoming a breastfeeding, baby-led-weaning, baby-wearing, stay at home mumma.

Chantelle x

  1. You keep liking my blog posts. *grins* That’s odd because I tagged them “cupcakes” on a whim. Thanks for taking the time and interact with a blog that is non-travel or cooking and is as far from yours as I could imagine. *grins again*

    1. Because clearly if I have a baking blog I am not allowed to look at any other type of blog. Thank you for visiting my page just to be a pest!

      1. Oops, I really didn’t mean to “be a pest”. I am sorry if it came out that way. My bad. I really intended gratitude. *sigh*

      2. Well it came across rude and closer to spiteful so you may wish to monitor more closely what you write.
